The location in a quiet residential area was perfect - it provided a peaceful atmosphere while still being within easy reach of all the commercial activities. Plus, it was just a quick 2 minute walk to the beach, allowing me to easily access the beautiful coastline. The hotel itself was top-notch, with impeccable service and a wide range of amenities. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the air conditioning, as the weather was quite hot during my visit. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my every need was met, making the experience even more enjoyable.

it is found in a beach area. hotel's manager was top! the honesty bar was a delightful surprise. we were surprised by the garden too. worth its 4 stars.

I had a lovely stay at Laluxe! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning bathroom and a little balcony to enjoy the view. The pool area was a great place to relax, and the breakfasts were a real treat, especially the delicious home-baked goodies. The staff, especially Anna, were delightful and always helpful. I highly recommend Laluxe for a wonderful stay in Durban.

Spent Christmas in SA at a lovely hotel with grand decor and friendly staff. the breakfast was tasty and served in a beautiful dining area. Plus, the hotel was conveniently located close to the beach and shops.

Sadly, the area around the hotel wasn't the safest. We were advised against walking in the area at night and had some concerns for our security.

Enjoy tasty cooked-to-order breakfasts, and clean and comfortable rooms with fast WiFi and individual DSTV decoders. the beautiful surroundings and friendly staff make for a wonderful vacation experience. Relax by the pool, or head to nearby Umhlanga Rocks for a range of great restaurants and shopping options.

The family room was spacious and had a bar fridge. The location was great, close to amenities and the beach. , we were happy with the level of service offered.

The breakfast options were limited. The fact that some areas of the room need maintenance and detail were not up to standard, which is not expected from a high-rated property.
